Temporary Profession of vows

After Novitiate program, candidates will profess their vows and continue to renew their vows until their 5th year. At this stage, the purpose is to help the sisters to live a more definite consecration for Christ and to carry out the mission of the Congregation more suitably.

Please join us in prayer for our sisters who are going to profess their first vows as a Sisters Lovers of the Holy Cross in July 6, 2017.

Final Profession of vows

Sr. Maria Lieu Thu Nguyen, Sr. Maria Van Yen Nguyen will be professing their final vows as a Sister of Lovers of the Holy Cross.

"Consecrated life is the mystery of a covenant between God and religious in the offering of the love and the pledge of fidelity, built on the sacrament of Baptism and expressed in a fuller way the meaning of the sacrament.
The self-offering through the vows of the Lovers of the Holy Cross is an act of loving response to the mercy of God the Father, the call of Jesus Christ, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit on the way to perfection in religious life.
Living the consecrated life is to follow Christ, our Model of Chastity, Poverty, and Obedience; it is to resolutely offer ourselves to Christ, in order to belong entirely to Him and accomplish the mission of the Institute."
