WHO WE ARE
We, the Lovers of the Holy Cross of Los Angeles, are a community of Catholic women religious, committed to deepening our relationship with Jesus Christ through a life of prayer, sacrifice, and service.
We are one of the thirty Congregations of Lovers of the Holy Cross originating in Vietnam, founded by a French Bishop and missionary, Servant of God Pierre Lambert de la Motte, in 1670.
"Attain a realistic love for the Cross of the Son of God"
Bishop Lambert de la Motte

COMMUNITY: United with Jesus Christ Crucified, we joyfully live together in the spirit of love and sacrifice.
MORTIFICATION: Dying to ourselves, we joyfully manifest a practical love for Christ Crucified.
